Privacy policy

This policy explains what information ClingWorldConnect, operated by Cling Info Tech, collects when you use the website, the free games and the mobile app, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your name, email address, country and the profile details you choose to add, plus your connections with other members. Your password is stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text. We also keep basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for a limited time to keep the service secure and working.

Games and your browser

Games can be played without an account. Your best score for each game is saved in your own browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to our servers, and clearing your browser data removes it.

How we use it

We use your account details to run ClingWorldConnect: showing your profile to other members, suggesting people from countries you haven't connected with yet, tracking your world passport, and sending emails you ask for, such as password resets. We don't sell your personal information.

Advertising and cookies

Our free games are supported by ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Children

Member accounts are intended for people aged 13 and over. The games can be played by anyone without an account, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Your choices

You can edit your profile or change your password at any time. To delete your account and its data, or to ask what we hold about you, contact us at akshay@clinginfotech.com.
